The meeting was attended by representatives of the Khanbogd Soum Administration, herders, and Oyu Tolgoi LLC along with two local citizens and one staff member from Development Solutions NGO as observers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with the Council\u2019s Rules of Procedure, Mr. B. Khuyag, representative of the Khanbogd Soum Administration, was appointed as the new Chairperson of the Council. The herders' side introduced Kh. Nekhiit, newly elected as the Representative Leader of the Herders' Side, who was formally presented to the Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Council discussed and decided on the following agenda items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reviewed and evaluated the implementation progress of the Herders\u2019 Complaint Resolution Agreement #2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agreed that the projects outlined in the Agreement, including the Herders\u2019 Market and Livestock Slaughter Line, will be managed and implemented through the Soum Joint (Secondary) Cooperative, based on the results of herders\u2019 voting, and decided to initiate the feasibility study for these projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agreed to continue the second phase of the Undai River Cultural Heritage Project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discussed and reviewed five petitions submitted by local citizens to the Council.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decided to intensify the implementation of the commitments under the HCRA and to strengthen the overall operations of the Council.
