In accordance with Chapter 6 of the TPC Charter and to ensure the independence of the parties, equal participation, effective coordination, and transparency, the Council for Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility NGO was selected as the TPC’s Independent Secretariat and has been operating continuously since January 2022.
The Mongolian Council for Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility is a non-profit, public-benefit organization established in 2015 at the initiative of sustainability, environmental, community relations, and CSR professionals from leading mining companies in Mongolia.
The organization has been active for seven years, promoting the principles and practices of sustainable development and responsible mining. TNC brings together a team of senior industry consultants, subject-matter experts, and journalists specializing in mining and economic affairs.

preparing recommendations; and undertaking advocacy based on evidence;
Providing advisory services on sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, community relations,
and public communication strategies;
Promoting and sharing national best practices in community relations and corporate social responsibility.
