The TPC held its regular meeting on January 31, 2024, at the Citizens’ Development Center in Khanbogd Soum. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Khanbogd Soum Administration, herders, and Oyu Tolgoi LLC, as well as representatives from SICA Research Organization and the “Munkh Nogoon Galba” NGO.
The Council discussed the agenda items in detail and made the following decisions:
- Reviewed and discussed the 2023 Annual Report of the “Munkh Nogoon Galba” NGO.
- Discussed the independent evaluation report on the implementation of HCRA #1 and #2 and agreed to provide feedback and recommendations from the Council.
- Reviewed and approved the draft 2024 Annual Work Plan, which includes 18 activities under the HCRA #1 and #2 and 11 additional actions, totaling 29 activities to be implemented in 2024.
