Joint Statement
Өмнөговь аймаг Ханбогд сум 2024 оны есдүгээр сарын 24
Ханбогд сумын Гурван талт зөвлөлийн ээлжит хурлыг 2024 оны 09 дүгээр сарын 24-ний өдөр зохион байгууллаа. Хуралд ГТЗ-ийн гишүүд болох Ханбогд сумын Засаг захиргааны төлөөлөл, Малчдын төлөөлөл, Оюу Толгой компанийн төлөөллүүд оролцлоо.
The Council discussed the agenda items in detail and made the following decisions.
- Reviewed the 2022–2024 operational report of the Independent Secretariat, the Closure Audit Report of the Compensation Program, the Work Plan for the Pasture Water Supply Study in Khanbogd Soum, and the Work Plan of the Local Business Development Consultant.
- Discussed the Terms of Reference for the selection of the Independent Secretariat.
- Decided to combine the independent audit of the implementation of HCRA #1 and #2 and the assessment of the TPC Rules, and to carry out the evaluation in 2025.
- Agreed that Oyu Tolgoi LLC will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Manlai–Oyu Tolgoi improved dirt road, and that the progress report will be presented at the next TPC meeting.
- Reviewed petitions submitted by herders, and decided to forward them to the relevant parties and ensure written responses are provided.
- Heard a progress report on monitoring and corrective actions undertaken to address seepage from the tailings storage facility, and agreed that TPC members will conduct a site visit with representatives of Accountability Counsel, the herders’ advisory organization.
- Decided that the local business consultancy team will lead the implementation of the “Young Herder” Program.
Tripartite Council of the Khanbogd Soum
