The TPC held its regular meeting on June 16, 2022, in an in-person format. Representatives of the Khanbogd Soum Administration, herders, and Oyu Tolgoi LLC attended the meeting.
The Council discussed the agenda items in detail and made the following decisions.
- The Council reviewed the background, development stages, and key activities of the Tripartite Council, along with its main governing documents, including the Rules of Procedure, Conflict of Interest Management Procedure, Herders’ Complaint Resolution Agreements I and II, and the Public Information and Social Media Communication, and agreed to apply and adhere to them in daily operations.
- Reviewed the implementation progress of the HCRA #1 and #2, and decided to note key issues requiring further attention and discuss them in detail at the next TPC meeting.
- The Council reviewed the draft 2022 Training Plan, identified priority training topics for members, and approved a plan covering 16 training modules to be implemented in 2022.
- Discussed and approved the draft 2022 Annual Plan of the Council, which includes 30 activities derived from the HCRA #1 and #2, plus 6 additional actions, totaling 36 planned activities to be implemented throughout 2022.
